Hi, I'm Jodie
I’ve had international event management experience in the UK, Australia and here at home in various cities around NZ. After leaving The Arts Centre in Christchurch as the Venue and Event Manager I had several people get in touch asking if I would come back to manage their event. I was so flattered and pleased they wanted to continue to work with me, and that’s how ‘On the Day’ was born.
I enjoy making people happy. Seeing you relax and have the best time rather than feeling stressed and anxious about all the things that could go wrong means I’ve done my job. Being the point of contact on the day and bringing the event you have meticulously planned to life is incredibly rewarding for me - it’s why I do what I do. I love watching your guests have a memorable experience, particularly if they’ve come from out of town to spend as much time with you as possible!
I love working with people and am passionate about all kinds of weddings and events and watching the details come together.
I have a post graduate degree in Event Management so you can be confident that you’re in safe hands with someone who not only has practical experience but the knowledge to back it up.
